combines the art of Jiu Jitsu with the passion of fitness

Growing up I always loved play and watching sports. Anything competitive kept my interest. Through out my childhood I loved playing soccer. Once I got to high school I played soccer and wrestled. I enjoyed  the team aspect of soccer while also loving the thrill of going head to head with another wrestler.

I stayed active in college while I got my bachelor degree in mathematics. After several years as an actuary, I was ready to quit. It was not my calling. Fortunately after my wife gave birth to my first son I was able to stay home with him. Once I got my parenting feet wet I started to have a urning to be active again.

I started running again and eventually did a half marathon in the mountains of colorado. Everyone told me that once I did one I would be hooked but that wasn't the case. While my cardio was great I still felt weak. So began lifting weights again. I spent 3 years going to the gym 6 days a week for 2-3 hours. I spent countless hours learning about nutrition and measuring how my body reacted. I was able to grow naturally from 133 to 205 but again I still didn't feel fulfilled.

Then we had our second child and life got turned up side down again. We moved across county, 2,000 mile, from Colorado to Bedford, NH with 5 year old and a 7 month old.
