AQUEOUS BJJ

combines the art of Jiu Jitsu with the passion of fitness

Sports has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. A large portion of my life has been spent on a field, competing or training. From the age of 6, soccer was the focus, winning two high school state championships, which lead to a full athletic college scholarship. As my career progressed I became the captain and MVP of the team. As the door closed on my collegiate career my love of sports and competition did not.  I parlayed my knowledge and drive from collegiate sports and began an amateur career playing racquetball. This eventually lead to a sponsorship by Team Head Racquetball Equipment.

Once again another door closed and I began searching for the next one to open. One day I was asked by a friend to try a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class. I instantly fell in love with the sport and knew all my past training and hard work had lead me here to start this new journey. I began aggressively training under the black belt of Curt Cummings, Impact Zone BJJ.  Once I had built a solid foundation of BJJ knowledge and techniques I started to actively compete across the the United States from California to New York for Team Drysdale out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now, 7 years have gone by training and my passion for BJJ has grown exponentially. I believe in it’s principles, and have been able to combine my athletic past, with the fundamentals of BJJ to be in the best shape of my life- physically and mentally. I am excited to continue building and sharing my BJJ knowledge with others. It truly is a sport that will never close it's doors on me. I can't wait to share it with you.
